Aetheria Beauty Bar ("we," "us," or "our") operates a premium salon and provides an AI-powered concierge service for client communications via SMS, Instagram Direct Message, and Facebook Messenger. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
When you message us via SMS, Instagram DM, or Facebook Messenger, we collect your phone number (SMS) or your Instagram / Facebook Messenger user ID, the content of your messages, the date and time of your messages, and your preferred language.
We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or sensitive personal data through our messaging channels.
We use your information solely to respond to your inquiries, book or manage appointments, route your messages to the appropriate staff member, and improve our service quality.
For identity matching within our own systems, we store only a one-way cryptographic hash of your phone number. Your full mobile number is held by Square, our booking and client-records provider (our system of record), and is retained in our operational data store (Supabase), which we synchronize from Square and which also holds our message and call logs — used solely to manage your appointments and to deliver the messages you have consented to receive. We do not store or use your number for any other purpose.
Our concierge service uses artificial intelligence to help respond to your messages. You will be informed that you are communicating with an AI system when you first interact with our concierge. You may request to speak with a human staff member at any time.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate our system (Square for appointments and client records, Twilio for SMS delivery, Anthropic for AI processing, Supabase for data storage) and only to the extent necessary to provide our services.
We do not share or sell your mobile phone number, your SMS opt-in, or your consent information with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your mobile number is shared only with the service providers that operate our booking, messaging, and telephony systems — Square (our booking and client-records system of record), Twilio (our SMS and voice delivery provider), and Supabase (our operational data store, which holds the records we synchronize from Square and our message and call logs) — solely to manage your appointments and to deliver the messages you have consented to receive.
We retain message history for as long as needed to support appointment history and service continuity, and as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us directly.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, and opt out of automated messaging at any time by replying STOP.
Aetheria Beauty Bar sends text messages to our salon clients for appointment-related and customer-care purposes — including appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling, and replies to your questions. This program is transactional and conversational; we do not send marketing or promotional text messages under it.
How you opt in: you give express consent to receive these text messages — for example, by replying YES when our concierge sends you the consent notice in our Instagram or Facebook Messenger chat while confirming your appointment, or by agreeing to that notice when our staff read it to you at booking. We record each consent (the notice shown, your agreement, and the date), and we send you a confirmation text. We do not send proactive text messages to anyone who has not consented.
Message frequency varies based on your appointments and interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out & help: reply STOP to any message to opt out — you will receive a single confirmation, and no further messages (including automated concierge replies) will be sent until you text START to re-subscribe. Reply HELP, or call us at (512) 636-5322, for assistance.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your information.
